Solidarity 4 Ed Leaders

Mutual Support to do the right thing

Since the tumult of 2020, we have new opportunities for change.

The global pandemic and the movement for racial justice exposed injustices and inequities that have always been there.

Now, social justice leaders can see that we’re not alone. There is an awakened sense in our communities—almost a visceral sense—that we need resilience, courage, and connection, and justice.

Even so, we all need mutual aid and support. Solidarity4EdLeaders (S4EL) is that community. Since May 2020, serving leaders and aspiring leaders from across the country (NJ, NY, CA, CO, WA, GA, TN, TX, HI, IA, IL, MA, PA, MN, OR, CT, and even Taiwan) have come together to get help and give help to one another.

Weekly workshops

Come together with serving leaders, aspiring leaders, and those who help develop leaders to strategize. This is a workshop, not a webinar. Webinars are great, but this is where we come to give help and get help to actually get the job done.

4 Topics

S4EL focuses on four topics in 2022-23:

  • SEL for dignity, strength, and compassion for kids and adults.

  • Keeping teachers and fighting burnout.

  • Finding and maintaining our courage to lead.

  • What to when you can’t say “equity”…
